The Utah Neighborhood Connection emerged out of a desire to love and empower our local youth.
In August of 2022 this dream became a reality with the launching of our After School Program.
Our after school program aids in diminishing the obstacles Ogden’s youth face. Located across the street from Highland
Junior High, we are easily accessible for our youth.
Once the youth arrive at our center, they eat a healthy snack, participate in daily activities –i.e., life skills
activities and leadership events, crafts, and homework help– and finish the day with a hot dinner meal.
We integrate mentoring into each activity, with our coaches assisting with homework, building relationships,
offering activities to develop their self-confidence, service, and leadership.
