We are Utah Neighborhood Connection, a nonprofit community center with the goal of elevating the surrounding community with programs and resources. Our mission is “to love and empower our neighbor.” In partnership with the Synergy in Action Network we have started to take steps toward that goal by addressing the immediate need of our community by distributing food boxes on a regular basis. Since launching our food distribution events in February of 2021, we have distributed over 12,000 boxes to families in need from the surrounding area.
In the immediate future our goals are to continue to develop our food distribution, start an after school program for local title one middle schools, and begin providing professional development programs for members of the community.

Our Programs & Events
After School ProgramWe are a safe and positive environment for youth in which they can learn and have fun. Youth start the day with a healthy snack and end it with a hot meal. Youth are provided with a variety of engaging activities as well as academic support.

Free Grocery EventsWe host free grocery events that provide fresh, nutritious food to individuals and families in need. These events offer a welcoming place to access healthy ingredients, reduce food insecurity, and stretch household budgets, ensuring no one has to go without the essentials.

Summer ProgramMany youth need a safe place to go over the summer break. We offer youth the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and educational field trips and group activities twice per week. Youth are provided with breakfast and lunch during these all day program days.
